1. Service Description

Family Coordinator is a calendar coordination application that integrates with Google Calendar to help families organize and manage shared schedules.

2. User Responsibilities

Users agree to maintain accurate account information, use the service lawfully, and respect other family members' privacy and data. You are responsible for protecting your Google account credentials.

3. Account Requirements & OAuth Permissions

Access requires a valid Google account and Google OAuth authentication. By signing in, you grant Family Coordinator permission to access your Google Calendar data as specified during authorization.

OAuth Scopes: Family Coordinator requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

• openid - User identification
• userinfo.email - Email address for account
• userinfo.profile - Name and profile picture
• calendar.events - Create and modify calendar events
• calendar.readonly - Read existing calendar events

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Account security settings. Revoking access will limit or disable Family Coordinator functionality.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Users must not:

• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Abuse or disrupt service operations
• Violate others' intellectual property or privacy rights

5. Third-Party Services & Dependencies

Family Coordinator integrates with Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API. This integration is subject to Google's Terms of Service and API policies. We are not responsible for:

• Google Calendar service availability or outages
• Changes to Google's API or policies that affect functionality
• Data synchronization delays or errors caused by Google's services
• Google account security issues or unauthorized access

By using Family Coordinator, you acknowledge that Google Calendar integration depends on third-party services outside our control.

6. Service Limitations & Disclaimers

Family Coordinator is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:

• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
• Service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with or without notice. We may update these terms periodically; continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose security risks, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Revoking Google Calendar access through your Google Account security settings
• Deleting your Family Coordinator account through account settings
• Contacting support to request account deletion

Upon termination, your access to the service will be revoked. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy retention policies.

8. Intellectual Property

Family Coordinator and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Family Coordinator and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
